Far far away in the middle of the ocean, on an island un-known to man. A man is ship wrecked in a violent strom, his name is Milton, Milton Shmelly. When the storm passed, Milton woke up dazed and confused. He decided he was going to take a walk around the island to see how big it was. It took him two days to walk around the island. Milton found out that he was totally alone. He soon found an old basketball that had washed up on shore from his boat that was totaled, he called the basketball Spalding. Spalding was a good friend, but one day when Spalding was out swimming in the ocean with Milton, a thirty foot sea monster shot out of the water and ate Spalding right up. Milton screamed like a girl as his friend was swallowed whole. As soon as he was done with Spalding, the monster turned and looked at Milton. For a moment he was frozen, but then he started swimming as fast as he could back to the island. When he reached the island his fear was replaced with rage. The moster had eaten Spalding and his death would be avenged. Even though Milton weighed only 120 pounds and was 5 feet and 2 inches tall with no muscles. He would avenge Spaldings death. Milton walked around the island again to try and clear his head when he found his football. He named the football Wilson, Wilson went with him everywhere, because Milton would not let what happened to Spalding happen to Wilson.
As Milton walked along he began to plan his attack on the sea monster. He decided that the only way to get revenge for what had happed was to kill the crimson beast. He began to make weapons. He cut down ten bamboo trees, and began to make spears. He would attack the beast when he least expected it. He decided he would find his den under water and surprise him there. First thing he would do is use Wilson as bait to draw him out and fallow him back to his den. As he gathered the things that he would need for his battle he would soon find out that he was not alone. Back in the trees he soon found out that he was being watched by the creature himself. His eyes glowed with intense furry and his breath smelled like Spalding. Milton thought that maybe if he was still he would leave him alone. The thought of Spalding ran through his mind as he gripped a spear and a vine that he made into a rope. Milton ran towards the monster with his spear and rope. He threw the rope around the monsters neck, but the monster bit through the rope, he threw the spear at him but the monster caught it and broke it in half with his little finger. Milton was in trouble for thinking that he had enough weapons to kill the creature. The creatures size was very misleading in the water but this was no longer in the water.
Milton ran for his life as the monster followed after him. Milton found a small cave that only he could fit in. The monster was too big to fit through the entrance. There was a hole in the top of the cave, so Milton decided to light a fire and make smoke signals. He soon realized that nobody even knew about this island, so the smoke signals were just going to be a waste of time. He got a large branch and started it on fire. Milton knew that it was his last chance. He ran wildly for the entrance, waving his fire stick, hoping that he would at least be able to scare the monster long enough for him to get away. As Milton made it to the entrance, he can see the monster's mouth waiting for him to get in. He ran out of the entrance and slapped the monster in the face with the burning stick. The monster was paralyzed. Milton realized that there was something in the fire that made the monster feel crippled. He decided that this must be his kryptonite. He began beating the beast with the stick until he was so tired that he couldn’t move. The beast had now caught on fire and it was all over. The sea monster was dead. Milton was so shocked that he couldn't move. His body was filled with excitement, glory, and a sense of safety. This was very short lived. For Milton just realized that he was still stuck on a deserted island. So he began to walk around some more. He found pieces of his boat on the shore and brought them with him. He used vines to tie the pieces of wood from his boat together. It was his only chance. He took a run at it when the tide was low. As the waves crashed around him, he fought to keep himself afloat. Then a huge wave. As Milton was hit by the wave he was drug under. Everything went black, he was woken up by a coast guard man that was slapping him in the face. Everything was fine the man reassured him. He was brought back to his home land and found out that he had been missing for five months and now his ordeal was over.
